People for an Aerial Tram from Halifax to Dartmouth
There has been a lot of discussion about ways to improve public transportation in HRM, but very few new good ideas. This group supports investigating the possibility of putting in an aerial tram (aka gondola) from Halifax to Dartmouth — a faster, more efficient transportation method.
An aerial tram could transport commuters from parking in Dartmouth into downtown Halifax. It would be powered by electricity, which could eventually come from renewable sources (which a ferry would never be able to do). It would also be a route with amazing views, and a tourist draw to the area (nice view out the harbour to McNab’s and George’s Islands).
Join this group because you think an aerial tram should be considered as a component of an improved transportation system in HRM.
